Pritesh Parbhoo PSYD

Dr. Parbhoo’s academic and clinical training have been in the field of clinical and rehabilitation neuropsychology. Dr. Parbhoo completed his clinical residency through the Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his post-doctoral neuropsychology fellowship through Comprehensive MedPsych Systems, Inc. – Florida’s largest private multidisciplinary behavioral medicine practice. He has served as the Clinical Director at NeuroInternational Healthcare since 2010, and also maintains an outpatient private practice. His clinical practices are applied across the continuum of sub-acute and post-acute neurorehabilitation and neurobehavioral programs via neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various psychiatric and neurological disorders such as concussions and traumatic brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, neurodegenerative disorders, but also developmental disability cases with complex neurobehavioral profiles. Dr. Parbhoo also maintains administrative responsibilities to support program development/enhancement around best practices while remaining actively engaged in studying and applying evidenced based practices to promote optimal outcomes in his patients. Dr. Parbhoo continues to provide local and national CEU approved lectures and presentations for varied medical/clinical, legal, and legislative organizations. Dr. Parbhoo also routinely provides expert witness testimony. He has served as an expert guest commentator for esteemed media networks such as ESPN and for “In View” hosted by Larry King. He was also nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2013 Health Care Heroes Award.
